How to Pay Your Bossier City Water Bill Online, by Phone, or In Person

As a Bossier City resident, paying your water/sewer bill is an important responsibility. Pay Online Through the E-Services Portal

The fastest and easiest way to pay your Bossier City water bill is through the E-Services online payment portal:

1. Go to bossiercity.org and click on “Pay Bills” under the “How Do I” menu.

2. On the Pay Bills page, click on “Water Bill”

3. This directs you to the E-Services portal. Click “Pay Water Bill” and enter your account number and last name.

4. Choose whether to make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments. Enter your payment amount.

5. Provide credit/debit card or bank account details and submit your payment.

6. You will receive a confirmation email with your payment details.

Online payments post to your account immediately and help avoid late fees.

Pay by Phone

To speak with a City of Bossier City customer service agent when paying your water bill, you can call 318-741-8665 Have your account number, payment amount, and card information ready. At the end of the call, you’ll receive a confirmation number

Pay Your Bill by Mail

To pay your water bill by mail, detach the payment stub from your paper bill and return it with a check or money order in the envelope provided. Make sure your account information is complete and mail your payment 5-7 days before the due date to:

Pay In Person at City Hall

You can pay your Bossier City water bill in person at City Hall:

City Hall is open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. You can pay using cash, check, or credit/debit card when paying in person.

Use the Drive-Thru to Drop Off Payments

For added convenience, there is a drive-thru window on the east side of City Hall where you can drop off water bill payments after hours. Place your payment in the designated slot – do not leave cash.

Enroll in Automatic Payments

For easy recurring payments, enroll in automatic bill pay through the E-Services portal. This automatically pays your monthly water bill from your bank account or credit card.

To enroll, login to E-Services, go to “My Account”, and set up your auto payment method. Review statements monthly and keep your account funded to avoid issues.

Consider Prepaid Billing to Limit Spending

Bossier City offers prepaid billing for water accounts, allowing you to pay ahead of time for estimated usage and draw from that balance as you use water. This can help avoid overspending.

To start prepaid service, contact the Utility Billing Department to establish an account balance. Monitor your usage and maintain a positive balance to avoid disruption.

Pay Before the Due Date to Avoid Late Fees

Bossier City charges a 10% penalty on late water bill payments, so be sure to pay your balance by the due date printed on your statement. Due dates vary based on your billing cycle – they are typically 20-25 days from the statement date.

I recommend scheduling online payments a few days before your bill is due as a buffer against late fees.

Get Payment Assistance if You Need It
